We all got ready and hopped in the car. They have a very nice Mazda Wagon.....much more comfortable than my little "clown car" as some call it at home.
We arrived downtown in just a few minutes. The roads and area were very much like I remembered it to be in Norway. We walked around for awhile and then went up to the top hill overlooking the city and the bay where an old fort still stands. It was again a beautiful day with sunshine and warmth ( Not as I remembered Norway)
Here are some pics form up on top...
We also walked to the old church in town and took a walk through the Arch Bishops Palace...
The Arch Bishops Palace was nice and there was also a very interesting military museum there that took us from the Viking days
through the Second World War and showed how Norway participated in them.
I made day three kind of short!!!
I hit a wall with my Jet Lag and after a short tour up to Gran Åsen Where they hosted this years World Cup Ski Jumping we went home and relaxed.....tomorrow we shall drive to Namsos....with a stop in Steinkjer to see the Racepark....
