Today We Drive to Namsos

Today is day four. Monday the 7th of July. It is about a three hour drive north from Trondheim to Namsos. We started out a little after 10 am and it was again a beautiful day. There is a little two about two hours north of Trondheim called Steinkjer. There shall we meet a friend from the school I went to 30 years ago. Wenche and her husband Georg invited us to their Race Park to have lunch and drive some go karts. None of us had been there before so after a little driving around we found our way....
What did I expect?...I don't know....but what we found was really beautiful.
12 km outside of town, way down a hill next to a river, we arrived at the track.is was warm, the wind was blowing so we were not sweating...and the surroundings could not have been more beautiful.

As is said...it was a great day so far.....we had not even made it to Namsos yet....

I cannot wait!!!

What a great afternoon we had with Wenche and some of her family. I remember her as a very serious student that enjoyed life and others. As well as being a mother of six children (22-5yrs)and working at the racetrack, she is also a nurse at the near by hospital. I really hope we get to Steinkjer Racingpark again.
